New to Racing? This event is open to the public, but it is a USA Cycling sanctioned event - this means that racers generally have a USA Cycling annual license.  If you don’t have one of these and this is your first time racing, no sweat!  We will pay for your one-day license fee.  However, this means that everyday citizens and newbies should race in Beginner Men, Category 5 – Men, Beginner Women Category 4 – Women, Juniors, or Single Speed.

Volunteers: All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and voucher for lunch.  Please sign up for a shift (here).  This race relies on volunteers in our community - THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!

Licenses: Participants must race according to the CX category listed on their USA Cycling annual license. Licenses must be shown at registration.  One-day licenses will be provided for free, annual licenses are available for purchase or renewal during registration ($70 for adults, $35 for juniors). International racers (non-residents or Canadians) must show a UCI license.

Course Description: 1.6 mile loop in/around/over/through Historic Fort Wayne – features grass, cobbles, two track, tunnels, and a bunch of run-ups...ouch!

Awards: The podium ceremony will be held during the designated award ceremony time slots posted on the Race Flyer - riders must be present to claim awards. Awards will be in the form of swag and/or certificates to the top 5 overall in each category.  Elite Men and Women will have payouts in accordance to what is listed on the Race Flyer.

Single speeders are competing for a .50 Caliber Bullet Bottle Opener - one for men, one for women.  Fight for it!
